Abstract
Neuropathic pain, a chronic and prevalent condition, imposes significant psychological burdens on patients and society. There is an urgent need to improve pain management strategies and develop new analgesic drugs. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has gained popularity for pain relief. Curcumin (Cur), a phenolic compound derived from the rhizome of Curcuma longa, exhibits potent antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, the mechanisms by which Cur alleviates neuropathic pain remain poorly understood, and a comprehensive understanding of its therapeutic effects is still lacking.
