Abstract
Figure S2.Effect of confounding variables on the expression of miR-20a-5p. There were no significant correlations between miR-20a-5p expression and age (r = 0.10,P= 0.59) (A), and PMI (r = 0.22,P= 0.27) (B), brain pH (r = 0.09,P= 0.66) (C). The expression level of miR-20a-5p was not significantly different (df = 12, F = 0.59,P= 0.10) between MDD subjects who had positive antidepressant (AD) toxicology and those who did not (D). Also, there was no significant difference in the expression of IRF1 between males and females (df = 12, F = 0.75,P= 0.69) (E). Each bar plot presents data in the mean ± SEM.
