BIOSEB’s renowned Dynamic Weight Bearing (DWB2) system is now more powerful than ever with the addition of the Postural Module. This optional software upgrade extends standard weight-bearing analysis by integrating unique calculations designed to quantify subtle aspects of postural balance, locomotor patterns, and compensatory behaviors.

Developed in collaboration with Dr. Tighilet’s lab from Aix Marseille Université-CNRS, the Postural Module improves your DWB2, providing valuable endpoints for studies on pain, neurology, vestibular dysfunction, and neurodegenerative disorders.

BIOSEB’s Dynamic Weight Bearing 2.0 (DWB2) system now offers researchers an advanced Postural Module, expanding the capabilities of standard weight-bearing analysis. This optional software add on integrates new calculations to precisely quantify postural balance, compensatory load, and locomotor behavior.

Developed in close collaboration with with Dr. Tighilet’s lab from Aix Marseille Université-CNRS to study anti-vertigo drugs, the Postural Module provides measurements of posture support asymmetries, non-limb weight bearing (abdomen and tail), global activity, and rotational or circling behavior. This allows researchers to detect subtle gait and balance impairments linked to vestibular dysfunction, chronic pain, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, and related pathologies.

Fully compatible with all DWB2 systems, the Postural Module installs easily via software download and enables re-analysis of existing datasets with these new parameters — enhancing your research without additional hardware.
