The Bioseb DECRO Solution offers a fully wireless, non-invasive telemetry system specifically designed for real-time monitoring of physiological parameters in rats. The system enables the measurement of Respiratory function, ECG, and Activity levels in up to 8 rats simultaneously, without surgery or restraint. The DECRO platform is easy to set up, and ensures reliable real time data collection for both short- and long-term studies.

Presentation
The Bioseb DECRO platform combines advanced telemetry technology with a vest system made of soft, comfortable, and durable material, available in various sizes for rats weighing between 220 and 750 grams. The 15-gram Bluetooth transmitter is carried in the vest’s backpack.
The vests integrate 2 plethysmographic sensors, 2 external ECG electrodes and a 3D accelerometer to continuously capture Respiratory function, ECG and derivated calculus and locomotor activity, all without restricting the animal's movement and without any surgery on the animal.
Operating principle

The Bioseb DECRO solution consists of an ultra-light 15g vest embedded with sensors, which is comfortably fitted on the animal. The vest can easily be placed on the animal with a dedicated tool (funnel-shaped fitting tubes) in less than 10 minutes.
Physiological signals (ECG, respiratory cycles and 3D movement) are transmitted wirelessly (Bluetooth) to a dedicated small receiver, with a range of up to 10 meters. The receiver unit is directly connected with the computer thanks to the dedicated LASA software, for result processing and analysis.
The vest features a built-in battery offering up to 12 hours of continuous use, with extended duration in programmed mode. Recharging is easily done via a USB cable in less than 3 hours.
